Hi Denise

After 4 years together moving from GXS to OpenText and everything that has happened since I am going to miss you immensely.

I interviewed with you back in December 2013 and started to work for you, sitting next to you at James’s desk at the old GXS offices at the very beginning of 2014.

And one of the first things you made me do was this:

So I was beginning to think to myself “what kind of madhouse is this?”

But then shortly after we were “merged” with OpenText, so the company that I started working for 2 weeks ago wasn’t the company that I was working for now. Not sure how to write that up in my CV…

But then only a couple of weeks later we got to go here

And eat dinner under this:

Which actually wasn’t all that bad.

And then I got to get one over on James when he dared me to sing and I did this:

So now I’m thinking “this company is crazy but cool!” And I would express that feeling by making lots of these, where you were a featured character:

And then later that same year we went to Ireland to live.

And you made it an easy transition.

During our time together we have done much milling around in subways

And sat in many an endless meeting

Where we tried to do this:

Which we successfully delivered to the endless tune of “Hurry up and wait”

But we got to stay here:

And while we were waiting we got to do lots of tidying up and reorganising of the Digital team into a knowledge juggernaut!

It was an Oscar winning moment…

During which time the world moved on and I took my family and, with your help, moved back here :

SO there are lots of little points in this story where you have been one of the key player that allowed life to happen and for that I..…we…. will always be grateful. 😊

Except this one….this was all my fault…..
